Industry packs

Starter plants vs what Module 11 does not replace.

Industry packs

Ops Configure factory builds a starter plant from a pack: food, pharma, construction, processing (and related packs in code). A pack is areas, typical sensors, floor notes, and demo-shaped assets. It is not a certified MES.

What a starter plant includes

  • Areas and a first floor layout
  • Device types from the pack (climate, machines, utilities as relevant)
  • Plant users (admin / maintenance / operator)
  • Local plant records for batches/bins/checkpoints used by sensor side-effects

What a pack does not include

  • Full Inventory, Procurement, Finance, HR
  • A SIS/DCS replacement (stated in pack copy)
  • Bundled native OPC/Modbus/PLC drivers
  • Automatic ERP two-way sync (Factora mode stores org/plant codes)

Selling the boundary

“IoT.Factora sees the floor and writes plant-local operational facts. FactoraERP remains the commercial system of record. If you have no ERP, we still run the plant module.”

ERP modes in settings: none | factora | pack.
