Objections

SCADA, OPC, TLS, and multi-site answers that match the product.

Objections

“We already have SCADA.” Good. We sit beside it. Teltonika (or the SCADA MQTT publisher) sends selected tags into Factora ingest. We do not rip out the PLC.

“We need native OPC-UA in your app.” Connector type opc_ua exists for mapping. A native vendor driver is not bundled. Offer a gateway that already speaks OPC/Modbus and publishes MQTT.

“Is MQTT encrypted?” Today: ingest token as MQTT password, factory-and-device topic ACL, rate limits. Do not claim MQTT TLS. If the security review requires TLS, that is a roadmap item, not a current feature.

“Can operators see every factory?” No. Plant users are scoped to their companyId. Cross-site is ops viaOps or Executive with authorized sites.

“Will Copilot tell us OEE if sensors are down?” It should say evidence is missing. If it invents a number, stop the demo and report a defect.

“Does Executive work for maintenance users?” No. Admin (or ops entering as admin).
