Connectors

Open Connect as admin or maintenance (operators cannot).

Connector types in product: mqtt, opc_ua, modbus, plc, gateway.

MQTT connector: subscribe to an external broker and map topics onto registry devices.
OPC-UA / Modbus / PLC: configuration exists. Native vendor stacks are not shipped. Practical pattern: poll URL if you host an adapter, or use a field gateway (Teltonika, Milesight, TEKTELIC LNS) and land MQTT.

Secrets on connectors are encrypted at rest when AUTH_SECRET is set. Logs must not print passwords.
