Register the physical Milesight / TEKTELIC / Teltonika box as an IndustrialGateway so Command Center can show gateway health.

Heartbeat stale ≠ every sensor offline. A gateway can be up while one battery sensor is dead.

Edge offline buffer stores readings (and some audit) uniquely by event id and syncs when the link returns. Do not disable uniqueness to “fix” duplicates.
