Teltonika Networks (TG)
Lithuania industrial cellular routers and gateways. Best when the plant already has PLCs, energy meters, or RS485 instruments.
Families
- TRB1 / TRB2 / TRB500 — compact IoT gateways (TRB246: Ethernet, RS232, RS485, dual SIM, Modbus/DNP3/DLMS)
- RUT2 / RUT9 / RUTX / RUTM — industrial routers, MQTT, VPN, RMS
- RMS — Teltonika remote management (optional; not Factora)
Industrial protocols on RutOS include Modbus RTU/TCP, MQTT publisher/subscriber, and on some images MQTT Modbus Gateway.
Path A — native MQTT publisher
Collect registers locally, publish:
{"value": 38.2, "messageId": "trb-1710000000"}
to factora/{slug}/devices/{code}/telemetry with device code/token.
Path B — MQTT Modbus Gateway (TRB246)
The gateway subscribes to a request topic and publishes responses. That is not Factora’s ingest shape. Put an adapter (Node-RED on the router, or a small mapper) that:
- Polls Modbus (or uses Data to Server)
- Writes Factora ingest MQTT/HTTP with a single number
Do not point Factora MQTT connector at Teltonika request/response topics and expect OEE to move.
Path C — meters and VFDs
Map register → Factora type (kW, A, rpm). Scale and offset on the Teltonika so Factora stores engineering units.
